I have been saving for a while now for a student visa to Germany. I planned to start my studies by the summer semester of 2025. However, I just read that the required amount in the blocked account will increase from 11,208 euros to 11,904 euros starting in September 2024. This will be another struggle for me, as I had already budgeted everything for this major move. Now, I have to readjust my finances again. 700 euros is no joke, especially for someone like me who has been saving every remaining cent from my salary 💔
